Beautiful cars and scenery came together in the hip city of Portland for Heels & Wheels, a test drive event that focuses on women in the automotive industry. I was honored to be invited back along with 20+ talented female writers in the industry. The stunning Allison Resort and Spa served as the perfect backdrop for Heels & Wheels 2024.

A Diverse Lineup of Vehicles.
One thing I love about Heels & Wheels is that this unique event provides an incredible opportunity to test drive a diverse range of vehicles, from budget-friendly models to luxurious supercars—all in one convenient location. Over the course of two days, participants got the chance to get behind the wheel of everything from budget-friendly sedans to high-performance supercars. This allowed everyone to explore and compare different makes and models, providing ample material to produce engaging content and reviews.
So may cars, so little time!
While I didn’t get the chance to test drive all of the cars, I did get seat time in some pretty awesome ones. It was like being a kid in a candy store!

2024 Nissan Z NISMO
This little car is so much fun to drive. 0-6o in 4.3seconds- you’ll never be late and you’ll always arrive in style. The details on the design are just awesome. I absolutely loved driving the Nissan Z NISMO.

My drive partner and I were so impressed by the Avant. Don’t let the station wagon style fool you, this is one cool, fast car.

2024 Mazda CX90 PHEV Premium Plus
Another impressive one- the Mazda CX90 is beautifully designed, comfortable and makes for a really nice everyday car. For the chic mom and the girl on the go alike.

What can I say? I’ve never driven a Cadillac I didn’t like. The drive is so smooth, seats are buttery soft- so much elegance in a car.
