I’ve take so many road trips with family and friends that I can now call myself an expert. Here are some of my best tips.

I love using social media apps like TikTok and Instagram or websites like Trip Advisor and Google to help me plan. Utilize the electric-only mode for shorter trips or while driving in urban areas. This not only saves on fuel costs but also reduces emissions, making your trip more eco-friendly. Also, be sure to locate charging stations ahead of time to keep your battery topped up.

Consider using soft bags instead of hard-shell suitcases and organize items in the trunk to maximize space. I like to treat the car like an airline- each individual gets a travel bag, a personal item and a snack baggie. This makes things so much easier and organized! Side note: don’t forget a good First Aid kit stocked with meds.
