It was a day windy in New Jersey today but still sunny so I decided to pair a wool cape with some ripped jeans, open army print heels, and a bucket fringe bag. A little out there, I know. But that’s fashion. I love this look because it’s chic but still edgy.

Capes don’t always have to be dressed up.

By adding a few pieces like a bold pattern, leather, or ripped jeans, as seen in this look. Fashion is meant to be fun, don’t be afraid to experiment a little.

This wool cape had plain buttons when I first bought it.

I swapped out the top button for a vintage-style button. I like the way it came out as it gives the cape a bit more character.
