Saturday, February 14, 2015- Designer Christian Siriano showcased his Fall/Winter 2015 collection at the ArtBeam during New York fashion week. Despite the bone chilling weather outside, once you walked into the ArtBeam, it was a little escape into the congo jungle. Wild plants and trees adorned the space accompanied by warm lighting to create the perfect ambiance.

The collection consisted of 46 looks. As always, Siriano created a line that truly flatters the female body. From outfits you can wear for work, dinner and gala or red carpet. The coats were absolutely stunning as well as the shoes(Payless) and handbags. And not to mention, the gorgeous gowns in beautiful jungle inspired prints.

The models sported loose hairstyles- most of them incorporating gel style slicked onto the face curls. Hairstyles were created by Anthony Cole, Sebastian Professional. Make up looks included very smoky eyes using yellows, burnt orange, copper or bronze like colors. The make up looks were created by M·A·C Cosmetics and Polly Osmond.

Siriano’s front row had celeb beauties like Kelly Osbourne(Fashion Police), Kesha, Juliette Lewis, Zendaya (Disney), and model Coco Rocha.

“The deep, dark and mysterious creatures from the Congo Jungle in the Central African Republic were my main source of inspiration for my Fall 2015 collection. I was drawn to the home of the silverback gorilla along with other exotic and exquisite creatures. These animals echoed through sleek burnout wool textured dresses, bold animal printed jacquard coats and liquid panther-like velvet evening looks. I wanted the collection to feel luxe and sophisticated but still playful through the ease and fluidity of the silhouettes. Inspired by plant life and the jungle itself are graphic oversized palm printed taffetas and bright citrus embroideries; petal appliques from the African tulip tree and Heliconia plant are a vivid splash of color that brings a dark collection to life. I wanted this collection to feel elegant , powerful, bold but still romantic for the Christian Siriano woman this season.”  -Christian Siriano
