A basket is always a cute idea.
It means you can stuff it up with lots of goodies. Anything from wine, chocolates, candles, and bath and body products. You can even personalize a basket and include things the person loves. For example, maybe your mom is obsessed with the show Outlander. You can include fun things like a box set, the books, and tea- and Etsy sellers make so many fun-themed gifts! The possibilities are truly endless.

In this particular basket, we’re going with “self-care” items.
Tea is nourishing for the body and spirit. The Restoration Collection by Chariteas makes for a perfect gift for moms that love tea. The set comes with a variety of wonderful blends. From black Chinese tea to organically grown Japanese Matcha and chammomile and mint blends. These teas pick you up and wind you down perfectly.
Skincare is essential but not all moms have the time to shop around for the right products. You know your mom best. Be sure to shop for her skin type. I love these charcoal nose strips by Bioré that get all the gunk out from your nose. The Rose Quartz + Charcoal face cleanser is also great! It exfoliates and leaves skin feeling soft and clean.
For sensitive skin, I like brands like Derma-E. It’s vegan, cruelty-free, and great for sensitive skin. Vitamin C Bright Eyes Hydro Gel Patches work wonders on tired eyes and you know mamas always lack sleep. The Microdermabrasion Scrub is perfect for anyone who doesn’t have time to go for facials all the time. I use this once per week and it’s become part of my weekly routine. It buffs any dull skin away, smooths fine lines and acne scars.
After all that cleansing, mama is going to want some relaxing time.
A Mantra Mask will do the trick. When I feel super anxious and can’t stop doing things around the house, I take deep breaths, wash my face, and put on a mask. This forces me to lie down and sit still for up to 20 minutes. Face masks are great for skin but also for rest.
This mother’s day mask set comes a variety. All masks are made with natural ingredients including anti-inflammatory CBD. Your skin will not only plum and hydrate but it will GLOW.
After mom’s done with her skincare, she may want to put on some makeup and head for brunch
I love these adorable travel-size eye shadow palettes by Buxom beauty. They’re perfect for travel or the girl on the go. These colors are beautiful rosy neutrals that go with any look. The palette features velvety matte, satin, and metallic finishes.
She’ll need somewhere to store her makeup essentials, too!
Miss Swiss, a female owned business, makes the cutest most convenient makeup cases. And they are perfect for travel, even to keep in the car. (I love the pastel colors, too!)

Let’s not forget haircare!
This small but powerful serum helps transform hair from frizzy to shiny, soft and in control. Perfect to combat humidity and makes for a great travel companion.
John Frieda’s Frizz Ease serum works wonders (especially when it’s humid).
