You don’t always have to break the bank to look good. As much as I love high-end brands, what I love more are pieces that stand out to me and fit me well. I shop anything from vintage to high end but I always love a good deal. This black and yellow outfit was easy to style (and inexpensive).
Dress for less
A friend recently introduced me to the Nicki Minaj line for Kmart stores. I loved the fun designs and the prices were amazing! I admit I have never really been to a Kmart but they had some great items. I scored this yellow crop top for only $4. Yes, you read that right.
Fun cuts and colors
I loved the cut of the top. It has a snap turtle neck with gold button accents and a nice cut. I paired the top with a black skater skirt (also another great deal but from JCP for only $10!). I added a shoe in black (an Amazon find under $30!) and to offset the color scheme, I threw in a cheetah bag. For accessories, I kept it minimal. A simple vintage watch and earrings.
So, there you have it- black & yellow on a dime.
The most expensive part of this outfit is probably the bag which I bought about a year ago for around $60 but even that is not too pricey for a designer bag now is it?
