These cold days don’t give us many options here in New Jersey. I’ve found myself addicted to cozy sweaters because of the early winter weather. They’re cozy and warm but they can be cute, too. Here’s my look- it’s chic and affordable.

How posh is this eyelash sweater in black? On a recent Walmart trip for some batteries, I stumbled upon a rack of these in different colors. I couldn’t believe the price and the quality of this sweater so I had to buy it! Who says you have to spend a fortune to look like one anyway right?

I paired the sweater with a cute black skirt, knee highs, and black designer pumps by Michael Kors. A skater style skirt is another big Fall/Winter staple this year. I love this jersey knit skater skirt from JCPenny’s I bought this Fall for only $16. For my hair and make up look, I decided to keep it minimal but very “posh.” A low ponytail, dark lips in a burgundy tone (MAC), rosy cheeks- and I kept the accessories toned down using only a simple pair of earrings and a bracelet in black with gold accents.
