One of my favorite things to do during the holidays is dressing up.
Whether it’s for a party, a photoshoot or holiday card- there are so many cute ways to style a holiday look. In this post, I’ll show you how I styled two gowns by Ever Pretty.
Dressed for the Holidays with Ever Pretty
Be the Hostess with the Mostess… or the Perfect Guest
This dress features an off-shoulder sweetheart neckline. The sheer ruched half sleeves are elastic which allows for easy movement and comfort. A flowy tulle skirt coming down from the empire waist completes the romantic look. The color is Navy Blue but it also has a tint of emerald which makes the color stand out more. It’s very unique. I think it would make a perfect hostess or guest dress.
Fit, Style and Quality
Fit: Always refer to the size chart and use a tape measure for accurate sizing. This dress fits true to size. You may need to hem if you are under 5’5.
Closure: It has a concealed zipper up the back.
Undergarments: It is not padded. Lined but I would recommend wearing a slip underneath.
Stretch: Fabric has no stretch. On top, the back part is stretchy which gave me a better fit.
Style and Quality: The style is elegant and I love the details like an empire waist, off the shoulder and ribbon at the waist. The quality is great, too. A Christmas Princess
Out of the two gowns, this one has to be my favorite. I love the color and it’s elegant but sexy at the same time. But I will warn you, it’s only for those who dare to bare a bit of cleavage. And I will definitely have to do another photoshoot in this gown again when it’s not so cold out, maybe around some Christmas trees! I definitely felt like a Christmas princess.
Fit, Style and Quality
Fit: Always refer to the size chart and use a tape measure for accurate sizing. This dress fits pretty true to size. I am petite on top so a little tailoring wouldn’t hurt. It is also long so you will need to hem if you are under 5’5.
Closure: Concealed zipper up the back.
Undergarments: It is not padded but it is lined. I’d recommend petals with this gown and shorts or a slip underneath.
Style and Quality: The style is elegant and I love the details like a plunge v-neck and an empire waist., off the shoulder and ribbon at the waist. The quality is great, too.
