Last year was my first year attending Ladies Night at the NY International Auto Show. It was a lot of fun meeting new people and checking out new car models. They also have fantasy-type models (like the ones you see in films) which are very cool. And you can sit inside most of the cars, too. If you’re shopping for a car it’s also a great way to check out new models without the pressure of a salesman nearby.
It’s back this year between March 30th- April 8th at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City!

There are so many brands at the NYIAS including Mazda, one of my favorite brands to check out because of their unique features and design- I especially love the sporty Mazda Miata! I’ve had the pleasure of testing out different Mazda models in the past and the experience has always been positive.
Mazdas are fun to drive and they also have luxury features including their sleek modern designs, leather seating, and advanced technology. Their premium features also include Bose surround sound, display via projector system, blind spot monitor, adaptive cruise control, USB ports, ambient interior lighting and so much more.
I personally love that there is a Ladies Night at the NY Auto Show.
There is sometimes a misconception that car shows are for men but that’s not true. I grew up going to car shows with my dad, a car fanatic, and collector. But my mom went, too. Dad appreciated the engines and the design of the vehicles while Mom wanted to know how fast they went and take them for joy rides. The woman loves to drive fast and she can even drive manual. Now, my daughter loves car shows, especially the classics. You can say…it may be in the blood.
Women are consumers and usually make the final decision when it comes to car shopping.
Especially when it comes to lifestyle changes like starting a family and finding the most comfortable, economical, safe vehicle for your precious cargo. The NY International Auto Show makes for a great family outing. Mom and Dad can check out new cars and the kids can take selfies with some cool futuristic models.
