It’s Halloween week and the festivities have begun! For us, that means Halloween movies, pumpkin carving (or painting), dressing up and more. But I know it can be draining for some mamas. So, I’ve collaborated with my friend Lee (who you’ve seen on the blog before) to style up a witchy cocktail! I’m calling it a “poison apple elixir.” It’s easy to make and sinfully delicious.
What You Will Need:
- Vodka
- Cran-Apple Juice
- Apple Cider
- Edible Gold Glitter
Poison Apple Elixir
So, now that you’ve got all the ingredients, all you have to do mix them together. I used a cauldron for mixing (so fitting!) but you can use whatever you have on hand. I simply added 4 ounces of each liquid and added in some glitter to give it an enchanting effect. For garnish, we wet our glass rims and added more edible glitter. Oh, and don’t forget to chant while you’re brewing up your poison apple elixir! Amuk, Amuk, Amuk!
Drink Up, Witches!
The only spell you’ll be under is wanting more of this concoction. Hey, don’t say I didn’t warn you. Now that you’ve finished mixing, go ahead and have a taste. Gather around your favorites witches, play some Stevie Nicks (may I suggest ‘Rhiannon‘), light some candles and enjoy!
By the way… you can get all the paper goods and more at Lee’s wicked cool Etsy shop here.
Let me know if you try my poison apple elixir! Lee and I LOVED it! And I’m not just saying that. Cheers and Happy Halloween, witches!
