When you do things for yourself- this can be something as small as taking a 5-minute walk while taking deep breaths or soaking in the tub- you clear your mind up a bit. When a person feels sad, the first thing the doctor recommends is short walks, breathing, and light exercise. It’s because these activities release stress. And let’s be real. most people are under some sort of stress so the more we practice these little self-care habits, the better we can be.

Tips on Practicing Self-Care
